Minnesota's a little behind on the times.

Around here, you say "I dunno, look him up on the wikipedia." they say "what's that, some sort of encyclopedia for Wiccans or something?"

Vermont is a special place. *headdesk*

I can't wait till it becomes a verb. Like "I dunno. Wiki it."

Heck, it's already a verb here in Brisbane

But yeah, it was a good point by Ze Bee (random German accent), the Oxford Comma can confuzzle people every now and then. Damn English language. Why does it have to be so complex?
A common misconception is that dragons hoard gold. This is half true. Dragons have an unusual sense of value and will actually hoard *anything* they get their claws on. This could be gold coins, or any coins, cds, and other shiny things, through to toys, plushies and oddly shaped leaves, colourful stones and fancy international bottlecaps.

Because we have insecurities about our height an ability to tan, so we created a language which confuzzles all those who attempt it.

Oh, snap! Pommie got on-topic-poked by Hawkins.

But seriously, how long are we going to be able to talk about commas?

I'm sure there are some losers who could go on FOREVER...the history of the comma, the design of the comma, the evolution of the comma...it goes on and on.

However, we are not such losers. Right Grey Dawn?

We're not losers and I'm the Queen of Kentucky. (Off topic)
Then again I saw the Dresden Dolls... (Off topic, but awesome)
SWEET! I'M THE QUEEN OF KENTUCKY! (Off topic, and kinda creepy)
Also pommie, I always thought "ze" was a French accent... (Off topic, but a good point)
Also I think the Oxford comma makes the English language /less/ confusing. (On topic!)

I don't think that there could be anything to make the English language less confusing. I mean, there is no rule for the Oxford comma. Doesn't that make it /more/ confusing??

I'm still going insane over the 'this belongs to Sarah and I' thing...you know how sometimes when you're talking really fast, and you say something like "oh, yeah, that's Sarah and I's" or something stupid like that...I always HATE it when I do that. How would you even say that? Sarah's and I's, me and Sarah's, Sarah's and mine...GAH!
