Uh... I think a couple people might explode if I posted all 362 pages... I'll look through and find some good excerpts maybe...

OMG, DW! That is freaking awesome!!!

With my word processor pages at size 12 with Times New Roman I multiply 1 page by 2.5 and that's how many pages it would be in book form. I'm not sure how accurate it is but that's how I've been doing it and if your story is 362 pages that means you have a 900 page story on your hands! OO

-is jealous of the length of the your story-

I want to read it at some point but I can definitely settle for some excerpts if I must. ;)

Congratulations! And I think I might be one of those people. I can't stand to read very much on a computer monitor.
How I learned it is one page of size 12 Courier New double font is equal to one paperback page.

D: I don't get to read it all? *sad* Could you e-mail it to me as an attachment? Rather...e-mail it to Chicago? I'm sure she won't mind if her inbox explodes.

No, you will get to read at least some of it, Hawky. I should be able to get some excerpts up next week. Maybe I'll post the first four chapters and then some random bits... But you will get to read some, don't worry!

You should publish it. :D Then I can read it. In book form. And so can everyone else in the world.

Woo for having finished a novel! :D :D :D

You finished the editing and the like too?
If so, what publisher are you hoping to send it to? I'm sure you are planning to send it somewhere!
A common misconception is that dragons hoard gold. This is half true. Dragons have an unusual sense of value and will actually hoard *anything* they get their claws on. This could be gold coins, or any coins, cds, and other shiny things, through to toys, plushies and oddly shaped leaves, colourful stones and fancy international bottlecaps.

Gathering of the Figments shall be offline from May 1st for about 1-2 weeks. Email me if you would like further details.

You will be taking part... right...?

Ah, but you have to get it published!!!

Hehe, yeah, unfortunately it's only the first draft. But hey, 102,507 frickin' words takes a long time... Anyway, yes, I want to edit it a lot, and I already have someone set to read it for grammar and another person interested in reading it for content and plot flow. But I definitely want to get it published eventually! :) I'm not cool enough to be able to scrap it and rewrite it like someone suggested, I can't remember who, that would make me explode. ;)
