With that I'm pleased to present you with the release date for our phpBB3 platform:

July 7th 2008 - 5:00 PM PST

Given the size of FreeForums.org this is truly a monstrous project, and has taken a full time team months to prepare. We will be working extraordinarily hard over the next few weeks to make sure all the last bugs are fixed, the network is strengthen, and we have the right people in the right places for the launch.

I would also like to note that the initial launch will include the core features we have in our beta version now, as well as some other required features. The truly groundbreaking features as far as user experience and functionality will be launched shortly after.


phpbb3 means that what you see here will get even more awesome! This forum is on phpbb2!
A common misconception is that dragons hoard gold. This is half true. Dragons have an unusual sense of value and will actually hoard *anything* they get their claws on. This could be gold coins, or any coins, cds, and other shiny things, through to toys, plushies and oddly shaped leaves, colourful stones and fancy international bottlecaps.


Gathering of the Figments shall be offline from May 1st for about 1-2 weeks. Email me if you would like further details.

Yes, it is.
It may involve a few glitches as we sort it all out, but will be good!!!

For a second, I was thinking "oh no! Some hacker has gotten to pommies account and is now making random nonsense boards! Oh, the horror!" but then I said to myself, "oh wait. This site runs on phbpp2, so I suppose he must be ranting about the new upgrade. *sigh* Better go see what he's on about now." XD I'm kidding, pommie, we all love your rants. *cough* I mean, uh, informative speeches.
