Word Wars

Postby Figment on Sat May 24, 2008 4:05 am

Ok, well this will work better if you are talking to the person in the chat or an instant messenger program.

But record your results here! If you wish, you can come in here and say a time you wish to do the war, and see if anyone online at the time will take you up on it (eg. Start at 10 past the hour and go to half past the hour?).

You know the drill by now, but for those who don't, allow me to explain about word wars.

They are very simple... You need to have two or more people, you decided a time frame (15, 20 minutes, an hour, whatever you want) and you give your starting word counts, write for the same time, and then compare word counts... Whoever gets the most wins... But it is more about adding words to your novel... Nanoers will know Word Wars well... They help to make you write, even if you are uninspired!

I usually find 15 or 20 minutes to be most productive...

Anyway, post your starting counts, finishing counts and what you got in the war... And also who you warred with... The chatroom is a great place to do these!

Sadly, none. However, I have an excuse. Not a good one, but I do have one. But
I, Grey Dawn, wage word war upon you Hawkins! Let the least lazy win.
You know, Hawkins, you might be the only person here I have a chance of beating...

Um... word war in Chatzy guys! Only put the results in here!!!
A common misconception is that dragons hoard gold. This is half true. Dragons have an unusual sense of value and will actually hoard *anything* they get their claws on. This could be gold coins, or any coins, cds, and other shiny things, through to toys, plushies and oddly shaped leaves, colourful stones and fancy international bottlecaps.
