Hi.
My name's Mariella and I'm new here. Obviously. o.o So... hi... how's it going?

Maybe I should tell a bit about myself. Uh.
Well, I'm a writer. I've been a writer for *counts on fingers* 4-ish years. And I'm only 15. Yeah. No, I'm not published... yet.
I have completed 6 books, only 2 of which I am satisfied with and would bother to show to other people. I'm editing one of them. I don't like editing, but if I die without at least finishing the editing of this novel, I won't rest in peace. Nobody wants that. D:

I write... depressing fiction. Technically it's fantasy because it doesn't take place on Earth, but there aren't any dwarves or fairys or elves or hobbits... so... is there a category for that? Hehe.

I live in Idaho.

So yeah. That's me. =D I'd like to make some new friends, so... I'm here.

I look forward to meeting you! ^_^

New person!
*glomps*

Hello to you, and it is fantastic to have you with us :D
I hope you decide to stay with us and join in our eccentricities, post some of your novels up for critique/comments, comment and critique some of our stuff, and just generally enjoy yourself here :D
A common misconception is that dragons hoard gold. This is half true. Dragons have an unusual sense of value and will actually hoard *anything* they get their claws on. This could be gold coins, or any coins, cds, and other shiny things, through to toys, plushies and oddly shaped leaves, colourful stones and fancy international bottlecaps.

Gathering of the Figments shall be offline from May 1st for about 1-2 weeks. Email me if you would like further details.

Hello again! Welcome to the place that we dub the Figments!

I'd make up some funny one liners but I have to be quick cause we're going into town and I have to get dressed.

So I'm looking forward to talking again and I hope you like the place!

Bonlejour, I'm Carrots, although you'll see me referred to 90% of the time as Geebles, Grey Dawn, GD, or some variation thereof. I'm the weird one. I'm also the living embodiment of music. And I believe I speak for all of us when I say:
OMG! NEW PERSON! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! WELCOME! WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME! Now please kill me for using such abbreviations.
I figure I might as well show you around to the big important areas. So here it is: The Carrot Guide to GotF:
1) Chatzy - http://www.chatzy.com/330656017382
- We're so cool we have our own chat room. Often quite active, it is currently recovering from a long period of chat death.
2) FigNoWriMo - http://www.figmentgathering.org/fignowrimo-f8.html
- The up and coming month of writing!
3) I think everything else you can find yourself. I just wanted to point out the stuff that I want to emphasize.

Yes, yes there is; it's called awesome. I tend to write a combination of awesome and horror, so high five.

Yay Mariella! So glad you finally made it here!

We met a couple of years ago, and I think I tried pimping out the site to her then... I just thought about it again the other day, lol.

Anyways, great to see you here, Mari! Here's to a long life on the figments... :P

OMG! 40! We have 40 people!
*happy dance*

Hello and welcome! I am the Bee and I welcome thee!
(that's the most rhyming you will ever see me do)

I'm 15, too, though I haven't been writing nearly as long. Nobody told me I should until about a year ago.
But yay for young writers! I hope you like it here (and stay)!!

Zomg new person.

I'm 15 too. I've been here longer than Michelle. Being as I was the one who told her to join.

I'm too lazy to count how long I've known and loved the Figgies.

Umm.

Welcome. I love the name Mariella.

The song is also very very good.

I hope you post lots.

I hope you read lots.

Weee! This shall be fun.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.
