So what are you planning on writing for our first FigNo of the year?

Do you have no clue, or are you trying to decide between several Ideas?

I have a couple of options:

Little Robot Lost:
Talitha was dying of an incurable disease, and her father couldn't bear to lose her, so he built a robot form for her, so that she could live forever, never get sick, and never have to die. Talitha has to come to terms with the fact that she is no longer human, then Henry has to come to terms with the fact that when she wants to look human again, she doesn't want to look like she did before. Not like the little girl whom he had watched grow up, and taught to walk, and ride a bike, and read bedtime stories to.
Then robots are rejected by society and the two must go into hiding.

Growing up Robot:
After her father passed away, Tali was left alone, stuck in her young form for many years, too scared of people to go out amonst them and try again. Then she meets someone. He is camping in the woods near her hide out and she starts to talk to him. He doesn't seem to think her scary or evil, but he does come to realise that she is no ordinary eight year old. He gives her an older form, and then takes her back into the city, to re-introduce her to society.

Forever Ten:
This is the story of my vampire girl, Hannah. You may have seen a little of her in the roleplay section, and some talk of her in the plot doctoring section. She was turned into a vampire at the tender age of ten, and watched as her parents grew older and died. Over the years she takes on new families, pretending to be normal, or will bring others into her circle. She falls in love with a man who is older than her, at least twice her age and turns him. He cares for her greatly, but not in that way, to him it is wrong, and so he breaks her heart. Madness ensues...

Hunting Sisters:
The story of Kristine and Josie. They were about twelve years old when they were turned by Hannah, and they are twins. They have a telepathic link, and spend their time searching for a big sister to play with them, and to look after them. Some don't want to be vamps, and some don't want to be tied down to two twelve year olds for all eternity, but they keep looking, and they keep trying.

I am pretty sure that I'm going to do Ardent Mirage. It is Science-Fiction and is currently what my siggy was made for. ^^

I wrote a bit about this in plot doctoring so you might have heard a bit about it there. Lila Lilian Linley is one of the most popular celebrities in the world, everyone knows her name, she has a massive house, countless maids, and more money than she knows what to do with. The problem is that there is no such person as Lila Lilian Linley. Lila was created by Mirage when she was put into suspended animation. She was given the opportunity to create the world she wanted to see while she was in suspended animation and she made Lila’s world.

Mirage was put into Suspended Animation as she had an incurable disease, and upon the world finding a cure she would be woken. And obviously she is woken at some point when the cure for her disease is found. When she wakes up the world is much different than she remembered and her time in suspended animation was a lot longer than anyone had planned.

This depends on when FigNo is, how much school work I have, and how lazy I feel. But I might try and revive my writing spirit (you might have noticed that nothing has come from me for awhile). I might actually end up writing scripts too. Partially because I'm in Video Productions and need scripts, and partially because I have a camera now and like doing this stuff. I might co-author the Velociraptor Survival Guide, or that might remain an idea that the two of us share. There may be, nay hopefully will be, a revival of the Nekulne series (the one with the creepy guy with the voice in his head that I posted a long time ago). So basically we'll see.

I'm probably going to do Imaginaries because I've recently had some good ideas for it, and can't wait to get them down!

I've been feeling depressingly devoid of ideas worth working on lately. I have the Kaleidoscope one that I'd really like to work out, and then there are three dream-sequency things, The Girl With Wings that I posted here and two others that were actual wacked-out dreams friends of mine had that I would really like to do something with, but I don't know what...

I'm thinking I'll write something kinda sci-fi-ish. I mean, you think it's fantasy, but it's actually sci-fi. It just is.

See, I'm thinking I want to write something with little itty bitty pixie creatures, because the concept of those are totally awesome. Because I was sitting on Sofa the other day, and I was staring at a muffin, and I really wished it was the size of me. 'Cause then I'd have more muffin. But anyway, I was thinking about a pixie who really liked muffins, and 'hunted' them, then I thought, maybe there'll be a whole army of pixies that all have these extreme personality traits, and they're all being taken care of by this one girl and living in her attic. And...I figured I could come up with some adorable adventure from there.

Oh, right, and they're not pixies, they're piksees...which is basically the same thing, only piksees are fancy genetic experiment crap. Which is why they have such extreme personalities. Because that's just how it works, okay?

HAWKY! *HUGS*
...You'll never see that happen again, savour it while you still can.
I also got this awesome idea for a short story today that despite it's most likely being under the usual 50,000 words I might still write it. Basically it's about the end of the universe, with time travel, and metaphysics, and brain damage. No title as of yet.

Isn't it great? I love not being dead! :D Well, Mae got really sick, so I've moved back in with her...kinda. They had my truck dragged down here and now it's in her backyard, so I'm still technically living on my own.

I must have been gone longer than I thought, Grey Dawn is hugging me? D: And Figgy, I think you should go with Little Robot Lost. It reminds me of Wall-E. Kinda.

I hope to return to working on Petersburg. It's set in a fantasy version of the Russian city in 1881, and follows the life of three people.

Mikhail, a bank official who murders his boss and is in a power struggle to take control of his bank, with the help of the local feya-- the faerie folk. Sewer mermaids, werewolves, and a lot of Russian fairytale creatures.

Valentina, a woman with a confused past and a confused present. She's a sort of sage, though she doesn't know it, with voices in her head that have always told her stories-- myths, legends-- and are now slowly taking control. She is, in fact, part feya, and a very special sort of faerie to them. She is in a sort-of relationship with Mikhael.

Luka, a country artisan, and illiterate spellwriter, who moves to the big city to work in a factory. He's 'discovered' by his superiors-- exploited-- and gets a taste of an upper-class world that he'll never be allowed to join. He meets Valentina and falls head over heels.

So, they all meet, interact, etc etc. One falls low, one dies, one changes completely.

I may do this new novel I posted... not sure though... don't know what it's real title will be either :P
A common misconception is that dragons hoard gold. This is half true. Dragons have an unusual sense of value and will actually hoard *anything* they get their claws on. This could be gold coins, or any coins, cds, and other shiny things, through to toys, plushies and oddly shaped leaves, colourful stones and fancy international bottlecaps.

Gathering of the Figments shall be offline from May 1st for about 1-2 weeks. Email me if you would like further details.
